Musician
In terms of artistry, Chelsea has a strong passion for Emo and Punk-Rock music. Due to growing up in the early 2000's, Chelsea has gained inspiration from the rise of bands such as Paramore, My Chemical Romance and Simple Plan - all of which are frequently included in Chelsea's setlists.
However, Chelsea has recently taken a lot of influence from softer, indie sounds such as Taylor Swift (Folklore/Evermore), Noah Kahan and Boygenius etc.
TUTOR
Chelsea has been teaching Vocals, Music Theory and Performance for several years now. Most recently at the Castlemilk Youth Centre every Thursday night. Chelsea's students have ranged in age from 12-34 years old.
When teaching. Chelsea uses what she has learned from the Estill method. She has also completed an Introduction Workshop with Estill.
The vast majority of genres incorporate the same vocal qualities. For example "Twang Quality" can be heard noticeable in Blink-182 - I Miss You, however also used by Jazz singer Celeste in her version of La Vie En Rose.
